I am no longer replying to Danny in this thread. Suffice to say I will never share a idea I have for my Disco again.

LMFAO, did you really get so butthurt that you changed all your responses in this thread to "nevermind"? Now that's comedy.

WOW. Do we have any metallurgist in this diverse group?

I was serious about wanting to recover gold from discarded electronics. I saw one recent special on the Learning Channel where Donald Trump was the host discussing the world economic situation.

He also stated that the biggest potential for wealth was recovering the gold from discarded personal computers and similar devices since the US and other leading nations have turned into a throw away economy.

I can't afford to replace my Discovery, so I do all I can to keep it going, even when it requires dumpster diving and the like.

Maybe Fish will send me one of his reels and I can catch some Walleye to eat. I prefer them over perch.

No, for me it is a privilege to get advice or see cool new things I could potentially do to my rover. I in kind wanted to share in return. Look at the join date, been on here for a long time, by choice not as a requirement. I am on several other forums as well. If my input is not valued somewhere I don't bother posting.

I am a very capable technician. I offer more help than I ask. I have done every little repair to my rig and every modification. I don't appretiate someone talking down to me based on a idea. Constructive criticism is always welcome, this can be accomplished by thinking before you hit submit. Believe me, it is your loss if I were to leave, not mine.

I like Danny, he has been a great help over the years and at no point did I consider leaving based on his responses. You would be wise not to insult people on forums.

Brad, I just want to say, If I offended you or any others with my red necked attempts at humor, I am sincerely sorry.

Some of us are from vastly different areas, age groups, upbringing, and other life experiences.

Some people are brillant and I have had the priveledge and honor of working with and knowing a few such wonderful individuals.

Some are on the other extreme end of the spectrum and are just plain crude and stupid. Edit: And I have encountered a multitude of them it seems.

Fortunately most people are somewhere in the middle.

I commend anyone who makes sacrifices for the benefit of others.

I appreciate those that share and those that care.

I try to tolerate most of the others. Some deserve a good swift kick in the *** at times. Edit: But at time they just need the right understanding and to hear the right things. If that doesn't work then leave them wallow in their muck.

Please continue to make your worthwhile contributions. We all benefit from shared knowledge, ideas, and lessons learned from experience.

We also benefit from a good laugh and a healthy expression of anger. Thank you for sharing your perspective with me.

Father forgive those who know no better, keep them from harm but please keep them away from the rest of us.

I got to go start a fire and throw some fresh meat on!

I prefer roses, like Brett Michaels Sang, Every rose has it's thorns, and every Cowboy has his sad sad song.

And if that don't work, you do a Kid Rock and throw them thru the Waffle House Window!
