Default coolant leaking out

Hello, my fellow disco 1 owners. How do you know if you need a new radiator or hoses when there is coolant fluid leaking.

Depends where the fluid is leaking.

You'll need to narrow that down first.

What I have noticed is that the coolant is always on the drivers' side front wheel.

Hi there

It sounds like you need a little help narrowing down the source of the leak. Open the hood, turn your Rover on and see if there is obvious leakage coming from the driver side hoses. If you don't see anything leaking and you have a cover over your radiator, take that off and inspect the radiator. A mirror on a stick is handy when diagnosing and troubleshooting the problem. Coolant has a habit of following hoses so work your way all over as it could be as simple as a hole in your hose, and coolant following the hose down to the area pooling by your driver side tire. If you cannot see any leaks anywhere, check the back side of your engine (again mirror on a stick is helpful) and see if anything is leaking back there. We'll keep our fingers crossed that it isn't a head gasket leak. Please report back and good luck!
