Default CPS, TPS, or IACV??

So lately my 97 has been shutting off while driving. It started yesterday, and usually happens when it is well warmed up and at a stop. It's an automatic and is up to date on maintenance with 123k. It just died on the interstate on the way home, but cranked back up and ran fine after shutting off the a/c. I noticed before that shutting off the a/c seemed to help before. It sounds to me that the TPS or IACV can't keep up with any exterior power inputs and tanks when asked to just idle. Although the shutting off during highway speeds sounds more like the CPS. Anyone ever experienced this and can share any nuggets of wisdom? Thanks

Edit: I have an ultragauge and no codes have been thrown.

Thinking more about it, the blower motor has been acting strange for awhile. I noticed awhile back that the blower would completely cut out sometimes on the high (4) setting and then come back on after 2-3 seconds. That would be accompanied by a solenoid like popping sound from the passenger foot-well. For the past few months, I have only turned it up to '3' on the blower to avoid that, and it hasn't come back, but now this with the truck shutting off. Could the blower motor relay or solenoid somehow cause that?

Voltage is great. It has a mean green alternator and runs over 14 volts without any accessories on. The lowest I've ever seen is high 12s while running the winch. I have never cleaned the IACV, so that could be a culprit.

Clean the batt ground point on body and frame also helped mine a lot, I also added a ground to the block and rad support from batt

Mine used to peg the temp gauge on dash if I pushed the recirculator button on hvac, did the above and all better

Good idea, I'll do that later this week. Against my better judgement I took it to an offroad park today 50 miles from my house. I didn't turn on the blower all day and had no issues (besides using the winch to get out of a hidden mudhole). A ground sounds like a good place to start. Thanks
