Cracked passenger side exhaust manifold

Cracked passenger side exhaust manifold
I heard a strange noise coming from my 97 D1 the other day and saw a crack on the cast iron exhaust manifold. I put my hand down near the crack and could feel the air being pushed out of the crack.
Took it apart yesterday and it came out way too easy for this to be the first time it has been apart. I'm no expert but it seems that maybe someone attempted a repair on it before. It seems to have back splatter from a welder on the back side of the manifold.
Has anyone successfully welded one of these that held up with no problems? I would rather replace it but the bolts, nut, and stud along with manifold gaskets are going to set me back more than I want to pay to begin with....not to mention the $400 manifold itself.
I already have a running list of things to do...trying to be reasonable (that being the key word "Reasonable"...not crazy or dangerous) and trying to strike a balance with cost and effectiveness. I surely don't want to have to waste time pulling this thing off again because of a bad repair.

Sorry I was looking at Atlantic British prices. They sell the new one for $400 bones. Bolts and gaskets are $60 by the time you pay for shipping. And thank you Disco life...I did check out ebay and saw there are several for around $60 bucks used.
I was having difficulty finding a junk yard in my area that did not want $100 bucks for one. Thanks for your help also Spike...just so you know I've dropped $1500 in a new transfer case, $200 in serpentine belt, water pump and hoses, I've got red tranny fluid that seems to leak everywhere and I am running out of money. I am a dad with kids that doesn't have money leaking out of my ears...just bills
