Default Cruise Control

Hello All

So again being new to Rovers and am working on getting my cruise control working on my 98' Disco. I read the forums and found that the cruise control is something that is very problematic. After further reading, I replaced all the vacuum lines thinking that was going to fix my issue, but it didn't. So I bought a used cruise control ECU and vacuum pump. I replaced both and cruise control still does not work.

So I am wondering what else I should check.

But also while replacing the CCECU I noticed a green box that is attached to the right hand side of the main ECU. It has several wires coming out of it, but in particular there is a single red wire that comes out and does not seem to be attached to anything. I have no clue what the green box is nor if the red wire is suppose to attach to anything.

I have downloaded the RAVE manual and I am looking for solutions for both the cruise control and what that red wire is. But asking for help is never a bad thing right?
