Does anybody know where I can buy just the Cover plate seal? I have looked what seems to be everywhere but haven't found any luck in just purchasing the one seal. I have looked over my steering box and have found that the box is only leaking from under the cover plate.

 

I had my steering box rebuilt a year ago (because it was leaking !) and this summer, you guessed it it was back to leaking at the top cover. Its my feeling that this is a poor design, but we have to live with it as best as we can. Having said all that...I too tryed to find just the top cvr o-ring but had to buy the whole kit just to get it, and for what its worth the one in the kit I got from AtlanticBritish was a heavier / wider oring than the leaking one I took out. So far so good , knock on wood LOL . Oh, and dont bother trying to make a "gasket" for the top ,that only leaks worse !! (trust me)
