Question Cruise control Vacuum lines

I just purchased 8 feet of vacuum lines for the Rover as my cruise control stopped working, and I could see cracks on the existing lines.

I replaced the shortest of the three, but how does one go about replacing the one that goes into the driver's side footwell?

If you follow it through there is a hole in the fire wall. Think like a contortionist.

Attach the new to old with an inline and pull it through, very simple......no contortions needed.

Silly question, but what is an "inline"?

little coupling is what I've used, hose slips over it. maybe that is what "inline" refers to.

Inlines are sometime called "nipples" in the plumbing industry. Basically it is a straight tube connector.

question.....

Where does it go once you get through the firewall?

It goes to the CC switch on the brake pedal. Not too hard to get to.
