In reading this original post did I just witness the death of the English language as we know it?

Your Land Rover is dead. He’s dead Jim. Send it to me and I will dispose of it properly. No need to bother with scrap yards.

Here is my translation the original poster can correct me if I am wrong.
"I was driving down the road and the motor cut out, a complete loss of power! There was no funny sounds or anything but supposedly the timing belt (I have a diesel) is off one tooth before all this happened. I think this is why it was slow to start. I am thinking it might have slipped more than just the one tooth now. So now it won't start at all. I would hate to scrap it because it is in good condition but I can part it out if I have to."

We need more info about the motor, year, history and all that jazz. Without more info on the motor let alone what you tried, it will be hard for us to help.
