Default D1 96-99 GEMS Best4x4 PCV Mod:

Well I finally had some time to look into which PCV valve would work with a D1 without doing any modifications. I've come across the FRAM FV368. As with my D2 mod remove the plastic baffle from the valve cover then just simply cut the OEM rubber line in the middle from the valve cover to intake and insert the FV368 inline in the proper flow direction and you're all done. Should work identical to the D2 Best4x4 PCV Mod. Sorry it took me so long to look into it, but I've been really busy lately. I had a lot of request for a D1 Best4x4 PCV Mod and now it's here.

**94-95 D1's use a huge metal mesh flame trap style PCV setup and doesn't need improvement IMHO like the 96-99 GEMS setup.**

Here is the 95 Honda Passport PCV installed. Simply cut the OEM hose and slide it into place after you remove the OEM baffle from the valve cover.

that nipple on the plenum is already a 1 way valve. You think adding a second valve helps?

Hmmm the nipple on my 97 intake is straight thru with absolutely nothing in it.

Straight through on my 94 and 96 too. Note the 94 uses that vacuum port for the brake booster, and the crankcase ventilation set up is quite different than the 96 on up. So, this mod is for the 4.0 L engines only, 96 forward.

Yep I just used my OEM hose and cut out the length of the PCV and slid it into place. Thanks for the alternate P/N:'s Toran.
