I checked the swivel joint fluid and it only some sludge dripped out. I re-filled it but I think this is what caused the demise of the CV joints. My bad. I thought when I was changing the diff oil it was getting through to that also. Didn't know it was seperate until I read up on the CV joint replacement today and the first step is to drain the swivel joint fluid. I feel like a dumb***. Live and learn.

Reminds me of the time I bought brand new calipers for a Subaru I used to have. The pistons were the screw in kind, so I proceeded to put a 8" c-clamp on them and force them in. Couldn't figure out why brand new calipers were so hard to push the piston in. Lets say they worked for one press of the pedal, then thats where they stayed.
