Correct preload method is with a torque wrench (Rave) and not the fish scale that could be used with the 94/95's. Calebbo is lucky there..... Highly suggest buying grease-able HD TRE's. The heims would be for max articulation. If it's a dd I'd stick with plain. X2 on the damper.

Just checked the TRE's and panhard rod. Tre's are definitely mobile, but tighter than I expected. Panhard is fine. Oh and yep the front brake circuit is nearly empty.

Yeah I used the fishscale method. I set mine to 13lb for some extra resistance. Specs is around 10.

Fish scale is for non-ABS, torque wrench is for ABS. '95's have ABS.

+3lbs should wear in just fine, probably only add a pound when everything settles in.

Duly noted. So there isn't an NAS built without ABS. When did they incorporate ABS into the RRC's?

Not good answer, but my buddy's 1990 had it. It was a county though, so maybe the nicer trims had it by then.

So Calebbo.....now that you've finally "finished" your actually not "FINISHED". I know it would be a major pain in the butt to do it again but........I wonder how far off between the two methods......

Meh, I disabled my ABS so it's kind of whatever if the Defender guys can do it I guess I can too. I don't think it's too big of a difference, yeah? I mean I guess I could go back and torque it and tell you guys the fishscale weight so we could just fishscale it from now on?
