Default Diesel

I've got a 1996 se7 with 151,000 miles on it. How hard would it be to drop a diesel engine it? Is this something that would be worth the hassle? If so what should I look for?

thanks,

mike in s.c.

Default The future of the Discovery

That was a very good question, installing a diesel in the Discovery.
Check out the D2 site for this same discussion going on.

A Rover 300Tdi or IH 2.8ps (based on the 300Tdi) would probably be the easiest.
Make sure that where you live in a location where it's even allowed.

A Rover TDI will be a drop in replacement with very few mods needed to your truck.
You will need the diesel ecu, a intercooler and exhaust.
