There's more to half-shaft strength than just number of splines.
There are a number of web sites that go in to what makes a stronger axle.
In the eastern states if what you're after is the ability to get in and out (especially out) of places then your money is, for the most part, better spent on a winch before buying lockers. While my signature is about 4WD, it also applies to lockers.
