Default Disco I Spark Plugs

I know the heat ranges between plug manufactures aren't universal. So Champion rates different than say NGK.

Planning to do my plugs and NAPA's system said NGK V-Power BPR5EY.

Are these correct? They should be one step colder I thought?

I'll take them back if they are incorrect just wanted to check before slapping them in.

Default Possible debate thread...

with stock wires (7mm) you are probably best off with the Original Equipment copper Champs. Having said that, just "search" for 'spark plugs' on just about any forum and you'll find thread after thread suggesting everything from Bosch Platinum +4's all the way to OE Champs.

Just find what works best in your rig.

As I said. Some people..... some people just do great. Can't bother searching the forum on my phone for threads of people who had d1's put in plat plugs had some misfires went back to champs and all was well. Makes no sense to me but I read at least a handful of times

These trucks are picky on their plugs/wires/oil/grease/drivers/fuel/filters/climate...you name it.
What works great for one will not work for another.
You cant go wrong with the OEM style plugs in my non expert opinion.
