It fit perfect. No problems with cooler lines, hoses, or fan shroud.
Don't forget to replace the 4 oil and engine cooler line orings ESR1594L
Is it just me or is this confusing? Are you saying the radiator from Rovers North is better? I think that's what you're getting at... The Rovers North rad is $700, I hope it's better! Which is why we're all here having this circle jerk. To look into this other, much cheaper, option. $700 is a lot to drop on a rig that's only worth a couple grand.

That's why I had mine recored. It wasn't cheap (though cheaper than most, if not all, aftermarket all metal radiators), but the cooling system isn't something I want to gamble on when the consequences of failure can be catastrophically expensive.

Sorry if this confused you...I'm saying this new radiator that Discolife bought for 2xx.xx
looks similar or the same as the one that i just installed that was supplied from
Rovers North (a plastic tank aluminum fin radiator)
It dropped right in no problem!
I was just hoping to reassure him that it's gonna be just fine.
As for the radiator (on the same truck) that this new radiator replaced,
It was a brass/copper aftermarket one that he either purchased from A/B or Rovers North.
He had nothing but problems with it and chose not to try to have it repaired.

IMHO the factory radiator is by far the best, but does NOT justify the $1000.00 price tag.
For example I had a 95disco I restored it for my son to drive as his first car. One of many things it needed was a radiator. I supplied my radiator shop 2 very used factory radiators and he made 1 good one for me for 125.00. My son then totalled the truck and put a few holes in the radiator. I rebuilt the truck and had my radiator shop repair the radiator again. I never had any problems with it nor did the next 2 owners.

Cheers

$480 up from last time because the cost of copper has really gone up.
I had a HD core put it, it completely fills the frame. Yeah, had a drain added also.

Thank you Tom.
Still not a bad price considering.
I need to call my local radiator shop to see how much they want to recore mine.

I didn't shop around. I might have found a better price if I had. But the shop is close to me and I've used them before and like their work.

BPUtah has the OEM radiator for $270. Is the ebay one something different/better?

That is an excellent price. Do they advertise? I searched as far as google would take me.

Differences, yes there are many, as for performance, I doubt any. As for longevity, that's yet to be seen.
