curious.will a center console from a disco 2 fit in a disco 1?how about other interior bits?

The dash fits but not the instrument cluster or HVAC controls.
Center console should fit.
Seats only with modification.
Clock will. Stereo will not.
Not sure about the speakers.

its hard to find a decent center console for a disco 1.the one in mine is all cracked and messed up from previous owner.on a side note,i think i like the disco 1 better than the 2.under the hood has way more room,there is less electronics.ie pollution crap etc.

You will like the DI better overall as a DIYer than the DII.
I will not own a DII.

The two serious differences between a DI console w/power seats and a DII w/power seats are the size of the cut outs for the seat controls and the size of the cut out for the automatic transmission shifter.
