Default Discovery I Fuel Leak Help

Looking for some help to tell me what boxes are in engine bay where I had a fuel leak in a 1998 Disco I. Passenger side in front of the windshield washer bottle. Leak is coming from the smaller box next to the washer bottle that has electric connection. Has a line running to the larger box in front of it that seem to have fuel lines to it. Pictures attached.

Thanks,
Paul

No one can tell me what roll these two little boxes play in the fuel system? Filter, pump? I am new to Disco I's.
Thanks,
Paul

Should you be getting any fuel out of the valve after a fresh fill up?

Uh no. Seems your baby needs to be burped. Apparently your sucking fuel into the evap system. What type of fuel cap do you have installed, I'll take part numbers if you have em.

I started the guy this evening and it did not put any more gas out the EVAP canister vent solenoid (ECVS). My son has the truck right now but will check gas cap after I get it back.

1. EVAP canister
2. EVAP canister vent solenoid (ECVS)
3. EVAP canister purge valve

Cap number is ESR2872. I bought another one of the same number and will see if that makes a difference.
Thanks,
Paul
