Default diy snorkel?

Who has done their own snorkel on their discovery? Post pictures if you can.

I saw one awhile back that someone did from all stuff bought at Home Depo. It was pretty ugly, but it was cheap and worked.

My favorite snorkel EVER was made of flexi-Dryer vent tube.

I recall it served double-duty as a street sweeper vacuum too.

So Rover11, is this snorkel going to be mostly for looks or do you really want to drive through 4 feet of water?

I prefer the Mantec style snorkel. I think it is doable with exhaust pipe.

I'd make sure my doors seal water first... or at least make sure the electronics under seats are relocated/removed/already broken

I went in some deep water and shorted out my goddamn seats and CD changer. LOL

I'm building the Discovery for offroading. I've built several wranglers. Here are some videos of one. Mine's the yellow. I've done tons of videos. I'm not a big fan of mall crawlers. If I ad something to my vehicles its for a purpose.

A buddy of mine bought a hummer snorkel and put it on his wrangler. it looked sweet on the wrangler. I'm not so sure though on a land rover. I wouldn't do it though. It's not talkk enough.

LOL Just come out of the airbox on the fender side and go straight up with a cap on top. It would look like a stack on a tractor.
