Doing Radius Arm Bushings? Bring a Friend!
I posted here a few weeks back about the pain I went through changing the driver-side radius arm bushings by myself. Balancing that relatively heavy part while lining it up with the axle and keeping it in the hole where it attaches to the frame is a giant PITA! It took me 3 hours to complete the job on the driver side.
Today, I did the passenger side, but this time I called my buddy over to help. It took 15 minutes to refit the passenger arm. The entire job took under an hour, minus the time it took to do the rear tie rod end on that side.
I bought my friend lunch for saving me several hours of grief, cursing, and busted knuckles.

There is a noticeable difference in the overall firmness of the ride.
