Default Doors hanging a little low

Hello All

So since my 98 is drying out, I was thinking about the doors. They seem to be hanging a little low, especially the rear door. Is there a good write up on how to adjust the doors so they are hanging better? I know on my sister-in-law's chevy truck I bought some thick nylon washer for the pins which positioned the door correct again. Is that what needs to be done on the Disco's?

Thanks
ed

I'd like to hear any responses as my front pax door is rubbing on the pillar.

This is what I got from RAVE, but not sure when I get the shims.

Adjust the door by adding or removing shims
between the hinge and the door to move the
door forward or rearward in the opening.
9. To adjust the door up, down or in and out of the
opening, loosen the screws securing the hinges
to the door, adjust as necessary and retighten
the screws to the correct torque value.
10. Adjustment of the door striker is identical to the
procedure for front doors.

I have yet to adjust the doors on my Disco but on every other car I have owned when needed I just loosened the hinges from the body, moved the door and tighten the bolts.

There was a TSB for the rear door. It would rattle/clunk when going over bumps. Had to do with the plastic guide wearing out and allowing the door to 'wobble' when closed. Probably, with time, it allows the cargo door to sag if left unrepaired.
