Default ECU placement

We’re is the ECU location on my 97 disco

Check the RAVE manual, but its located on the passenger side(NAS) in front of the washer tank mounted to the inner fender with two 8mm bolts. Should have a black plastic cover over it with two pushpins.

I would prefer the more conservative TDI-Tuning option for engine longevity. My 90X P400has plenty of power until I pull my trailer which has had up to 3,000# of cargo at times. At highway speeds 70 MPH with trailer connected it downshifts constantly when encountering a head wind or a slight incline. I wish it had a tow option in the choice of configurations. I have had aggressive tunes on Porsche’s to Ford Diesel’s and fuel economy always suffers but if I could easily switch the tune on when needed for towing then off for normal driving I would be happy.
