97 Discovery was running great, son came over to put seat covers on. Was using radio in truck while working.. Went to start truck and wont turn over. Put new starter and all new cables still not working. Also noticed that instrument cluster does not light up on 2 position like it used to. Otherwise everything else seems to work. Any help will be appreciated.

 

Has the alarm been activated? Do a search for alarm deactivation. Or maybe the switch. I haven't had to tackle this problem yet so I will keep my eyes open to what others say.
