Or just find a reg garage and throw 60$ and your drivers license at em. Borrow their picker. Put your motor on the floor and return it for your drivers license. Anybody will probably lend you a cherry picker for 60$/half day. Just find a place that has one. Tell em the motor is ready to come out. Once you're ready for the picked you'll only need it for a half hour.

Most local rental shops will also rent you one for the day for about $50... at least that is what I paid my local shop...
(Like US Rentals)

Never heard of a DIY garage, what exactly is it? Around here if you find a garage that charges anything less than $70 per hour, you can count on illegitimate work and half *** methods! That's why I do most of the auto work independently. Most mechanics around here cannot be trusted - especially when for the life of the mechanisms employed at any garage, never has a land rover piped into their bay!

If I were not so bent on moving to England, I'd move out where you guys are. Cheap rust free land rovers, rover clubs, awesome rover enthusiasts, and dam good prices at local garages and parts/rental shops!!!!

X2 Turf! I have found good rental shops...but rust abounds, parts prices SUCK and as for rover enthusiasts....well... DannyLeeDisco is just north of me.
And if that offends you Danny....just refer to your Auto Sig! :-)
