I was thinking the exact same thing - looks like somebody already tried to weld it on the "cheap" and did not do a very good job.

I bought the little 90 Amp Flux Core welder from Harbor Freight and welded my own exhaust in, and spent $175 total - and that INCLUDES the welder!

It has since come in handy when I relocated the Fuel Filter as well as 100 other little things that I was able to fix instead of replace.

If your handy at all - that is $100 well spent, and you can put whatever you WANT for your exhaust.

Just another $0.02

Chris

What series of flowmaster would you sugest? I don't want one that is too loud but sounds alright. Would a 40 series work?

Looked up the vid and it sounds pretty good. Might just go with that. Dose it have the little rear box still on?

I am getting mine replaced today. What you want to look for is a local Independent shop. The type of shop that doesnt speak very much english and says "Custom Exhaust." etc. This would be the type of place where young punks take their hondas to get fart cans welded on.

I am getting a new center muffler put on and replacing the ready muffler with a straight pipe. $120 out the door.

Those are great exhaust shops! I always recommend them and take my vehicles to if I can't be bothered myself.
