Won't prove a point, will just prove at that one point in time exhaust gas wasn't filtering into the truck. Not that it won't happen at all in varying conditions.

In the end if it makes you happy go with it. I know I'd fail you on a vehicle inspection before a 4 day pass though.

exhaust will never leak into the cabin with it dumped there. plenty of people I know dump their mufflers before the rear axle and its fine.

That's what I said and my post was reported for a inappropriate pic....?

"Huh, 4 day pass? Luckily for me I did it after my inspection

Best out if 3. I'll have it checked three time. If even a hint is present, I will change it up.

Nah.... still don't think I will. Haha! "

I've had over the axle dumps on other rigs too and was never a issue.

hate to jump on the bandwagon, but that is a dangerous game, you are playing, with that exhaust dump. with some experience involving CO poisoning, I would atleast get some kind of detector (CO400 or something. just 2 aa batteries and stick it under the seat)
like $20. fair price considering the consequences.

the other warning system is not always reliable. sometimes not always, you will become nauseated and start puking before passing out. problem is when you don't or when you ease into it. 60-70mph + uncontrollably passing out......well good news is you will more than likely shut off the vehicle before it comes to a complete stop (so that will stop the poisoning). maybe you will crash into a marshmallow forest or something like that.

there is no way exhaust would creep into the cabin at highway speed. we aren't dumping the headers into the HVAC inlet here, jeez.

mm, maybe not letting them in at speed (though this happens....has happed to me). but the gas that enters at stop n go and lights is in there for you to breath at highway speeds as well.
I suggested a 20 buck detector. not meaning to offend, but i'd feel like a Richard, if I didn't say anything.....so by all means.....your life...suck it up..or maybe not.......that's the issue, it is a gamble not worth taking.

Lmao.. I've been flying in the back of helicopters (door gunner) and humvees for over 14 years. You want exhaust smell, try it out Dusty. Never ever been nauseated or "passed out" from those exhaust fumes.

BTW. Gas analyzer readings were nill!

like I said its up to you. I merely made suggestion. I have, first hand, seen that junk become deadly. I would feel like a stain if I did not chime in. so...do whatever, have fun, hope it works out perfectly.
