Default Exhaust manifold replacement

Hey everyone, I'm replacing the exhaust manifold and gaskets on my '97 disco XD. The passenger gasket is completely blown and the manifolds are in bad shape. Anyone have any tips for an easier removal process? I've sprayed down the bolts with some PB blaster to make them a little easier to remove. The lower manifold connection to the Y pipe is a bit rusted so if I have to drill out the studs I will.

is it the top gasket next to the head, of the one that connects to the exhaust pipe?

It's the main gasket where the block and manifold meet that's gone bad. I'm sure the lower gasket is bad as well. I'm replacing all of them to be sure.

Lots of heat and patience if you want it to come apart without breaking studs.

I have neither of these things, so I just ordered a couple of used ones on eBay, replaced the studs with new, and swapped them out while replacing the gaskets.

i say leave the bottom alone unless you know its leaking and just replace the exhaust manifold gaskets.
