HI to all,
I am a new member here and wated to introduce myself with a question.
I have a 1997 Discovery SD and the passenger side manifold is cracked, I was reading that there is a recall on this but when I checked about recalls for this vehicle , this one did tno come out. Can some one tell me if there is indeed a recall to fix this or if I need to change it at my expense.

i'd go to my local exhaust place and get them to make you some headers(better mpg and power). the exhaust manifold on these is way too restrictive. i plan on gettin some as soon as possible...

 

Yes there was a recall. You'll need to let the dealer inspect it, however. Mine was relaced ('97 LE, since traded in). There is a range of VIN #s.

 

Call LRNA, there is a recall, you need to have a dealer look at it to determine if the recall covers it.
