Default Eye ball Lift/Tire size.

For you guys that have been around Rovers longer than myself (pretty much everyone) do you think you could eye ball what size lift/rubber this guy is running?

YouTube - Camelo

I'm thinking about a 2" w/ 245/75/16. What do you guys think?

I would like a little more width, as I find the stock look a little sunken. How is the fitment with 265's?

From my reading I know 245/75/16 will fit nicely with a 2" lift.

depends on what lift you use. i have the terrafirma and its actually a 2 1/4" lift all around i run 265/75 and the height is fine but the width sucks. i can't turn i need wheel spacers now.

I run 2" of lift w/ 245/75's. Absolutly no trimming needed, did have to adjust one side for turning radius to stop rubbing on the control arm at full-lock turning.

D1's almost always need some triming to run 265/75's with only 2" of lift as they have smaller wheel well opening's than the D2's

The guy in the video looks like he's running maybe 2"-3" of lift. Red springs may be these(only red springs I've ever seen):

Discovery I 3" Lift Springs
Discovery I 3" lift springs set of 4 medium duty, without the harsh ride, color options, red or black.

Thanks for the input guys... So you are rubbing the fenders with 265/75.. How exactly would spacers help? Wouldn't that just push you wider into the fender more?

not rubbing fenders rubbing radius arms. the wheel spacers will give me the space i need to regain my full turning capability.

Ohh that makes more sense.. What size spacer are you thinking you will need to clear? I might just go that route right off the bat as I wanted a little fuller look anyways.

whatever i can get cheapest. new spacers run $400 USD. i know someone who got a used pair of steel spacers for $100. I prefer 30mm but 1 inch spacers will do me fine.
