chevy clutch works great. and is cheap. Orylys had it in stock for about 40 bucks. But quick note, make sure to open it there, as mine didn't come with bolts, and the rover ones do not fit, so get them while your there also.

Need the OEM Viscous fan clutch/fan blade? I have one from my old 97D1

Thanks for the input. I'm actually looking at a new clutch now but its bigger than the old one and doesn't fit inside the fan. however if you flip the fan over, it does fit. What is the proper direction on the fan? Does the curved sides of the fan face the radiator or the block? Thanks for the help.

The curved side faces the engine.

Default VICTORY!!!! (I think...)

After much research, lots of feedback and advice, I do believe I figured out why my 95 Disco1 would slowly creep up in temperature, but not really overheat, after about 30 minutes of driving.
Come to find out, there are several different Tstats with different opening temperatures. I had the Beck/Arnley Tstat which would open at 195F, and it would only open at most a 1/4". I went to Adv Auto and bought a generic AMC/Ford/GM Tstat off the shelf in the "help section", which was rated for opening at 160F. I have been driving around today in 94F temp with my AC on and (knock on wood), NO RUNNING WARM!!!!! I dont want to celebrate just yet, but it does look as if that was my issue. thanks again for the advice you all have given, hopefully this will help someone as well.

A 160*F thermostat is to cold, you need a 180* at the lowest, 182? is the OEM temp, I have a 195 installed and I do not have any hot run issues.
