Thanks for the input. I'm actually looking at a new clutch now but its bigger than the old one and doesn't fit inside the fan. however if you flip the fan over, it does fit. What is the proper direction on the fan? Does the curved sides of the fan face the radiator or the block? Thanks for the help.

VICTORY!!!! (I think...)
After much research, lots of feedback and advice, I do believe I figured out why my 95 Disco1 would slowly creep up in temperature, but not really overheat, after about 30 minutes of driving.
Come to find out, there are several different Tstats with different opening temperatures. I had the Beck/Arnley Tstat which would open at 195F, and it would only open at most a 1/4". I went to Adv Auto and bought a generic AMC/Ford/GM Tstat off the shelf in the "help section", which was rated for opening at 160F. I have been driving around today in 94F temp with my AC on and (knock on wood), NO RUNNING WARM!!!!! I dont want to celebrate just yet, but it does look as if that was my issue. thanks again for the advice you all have given, hopefully this will help someone as well.
