after lurking and researching and shopping for months, i finally brought one home. it's a fixer upper, but runs and drives great. needs an alternator and some interior TLC, or as i like to call it, stripping out.
i'm sure i'll have questions to follow as i start tearing into this bad boy.
cheers
jon

I like that color, not green, not black, but not gray either.
Welcome.

That is a cool looking color, looks like the PO gave the front bumper a little character.

when you are in the section you want to post in, look at the top left and there is a box that says "new thread".

head gasket is good. doesn't get warm, runs and drives like a champ. 4 high and lo, locked and unlocked works. looks like i have a power steering leak, no biggie.
for $1000 i don't think i could ask for better.

That is a great deal. I'd take them all day long like that.

Mine was dripping red fluid from the front right wheel well for weeks. I kept thinking the PS was leaking, it turned out to be a pinhole in the tranny cooler line behind the grill. I saw a fine spray from underneath with a strong light. New cooling line cured that leak.
