I was gung-ho on a rack(and ladder) 'til I realized I wouldn't be able to fit in my garage.

Yeah it wont fit in my garage either, or the parking ramp at the mall.
But thats a small price to pay for the awesomeness that is a SD roof rack.

Once I get new springs it wont fit in the car wash though.
Right now its just a skosh over 7'.

with the factory racks and my 2" springs(and 245/75's), I clear my garage door by 1/2-1".

I was gonna say screw fitting in the garage, and go all out on lift, tires, rack, etc, but my daughter wants my rover next year when she starts driving.

Perfect excuse to buy a new one for me!

My stepson thinks he is going to be driving mine when he turns 16. LOL. NO. He is going to learn to drive in his mom's car. I will match whatever he can afford for a used car, just like my parents did. Assuming he stays out of trouble (perfect kid so far) I might let him borrow it for the prom or something...
