Hello from Calgary. I have just bought this Discovery as a restoration project. It its a 96 sE7. I am trying to figure out what is the deal with the front bumper and metal wire on the passenger door. I bought it for cheap and want to restore it. It has been sitting for three years but seems to be ok. Alarm keeps going off when starting the car. Not sure what the issue is . How do you deactivate the alarm.? Any help is appreciated. I am in Calgary Canada and I have always like the look of the Discovery

looks like the front plinth is missing... plastic trim. we have some at BritishBoneyard... but shipping cross the border might be salty!

 

front bumper is missing the 'pinth' (where a lic plate might go) which will cover the two bumps on the front. Then you also need the 'end caps'.
