Front propshaft
1.Spicer parts and local made C&C made end not a Chinese steel POS. C&C made end???? What end?
2.Thick, it is seriously beefy. I was looking for an actual size.. .120 wall?

I will add he told me the manufactured end will be shorter to allow for more axle travel. Please explain what you're talking about.. I dont think this makes any sense what-so-ever.. Unless you get rid of radius arms you're only going to get 10-12" travel MAX which you could do with any aftermarket drive shaft already.
You might want to check the TW pieces. Probably cheap for a reason.

Jake, Call Bill. I am not debating you on this vs. that. Bills shafts are on over 30% of my 4x4 clubs rigs. They are the last thing to fail. He is 3 generations deep in the business.

Furthermore, why wouldn't you want to promote Bill's business and let the Land Rover community know about a potentially superior product?
Dweb isn't a community known for taking crap and buying crap. If Tom Woods shafts were failing and were crappy they wouldn't be so highly revered on Dweb. If they were failing and crappy there would be considerable talk about it.....and there isn't.
I meant, check your components. Bill stated a major supplier for our propshaft ends is no longer using US Steel or being made in the US. Odds are more shaft manufacturers are going to use the Chinese ends which are known to be weak. What do I know about TW shafts? Nothing, except He is not located here. Fair enough. I'm all for using and promoting local guys. I have no idea where Tom Woods sources his ends from. All I can offer is that the one time I spoke to him he was very professional and helpful, and my truck has been totally vine free since installing the TW DC front shaft.

Englewood's warranty is 1 year "on all our work" which sounds like a workmanship warranty, but I could be wrong.
The TW warranty is for life for the gold seal u-joints and any consequential damage to the propshaft. Aside from impact damage, which I doubt anyone really warranties against, breaking a u-joint is the most likely thing to happen. Lifetime seems pretty good to me.
What does englewood do if you break a u-joint in 10 years and it takes out a yoke? Free repair & replacement?

And yes your 4x4 club may run then but the rest of the country for the most part runs Woods or GBR and I have year to hear of a case of a broken double cardan end due to stress and not maintenance of the joint

I am a customer. You want to know what he will do? Call him. I have been in the automotive business for 23 years, I know a stand up business owner when I see one.

With that said dont get all butt hurt that we are questioning the product. People just want to know why you went that route and why you seem to think it's the best...
I have a stock driveshaft with brand new Ujoints. I'm not going to tell you what kind but take my word for it they're awesome. In fact, mine is the best driveshaft out there, trust me.
People want to know WHY a product is better. You saying so isn't good enough. There has to be a justifiable reason to spend $70 more on a relatively new driveshaft supplier to the Land Rover market instead of a proven supplier.
It's nothing personal. But since you brought it up and you are the closest connection Englewood Driveshaft has to the Land Rover community we're asking you what makes his driveshaft $70 better than a Woods. I don't think that is such an outrageous question. I'm sure Bill is a stand up guy but alone isn't enough to give him an extra $70 I could spend on cool decals.
