I bought that pump from Auto Parts Warehouse and replaced mine 27K miles ago and still going strong, no issues. Mine is a 1997 disco, the pump had an extra outlet that I just plugged up. The biggest issue for me was to loosen the old one since the nuts were pretty rusted.

Then you can replace the fuel pump yourself pretty easily.

Still won't work for a '98. Aside from the electrical connectors, the fuel lines on pre-AEL are screwed on at the pump, where AEL pump and lines are a spring loaded connection, no nuts or threaded fittings.
