fuses question...help
hey guys,
is changing the fusible links in the fuse box located in the engine comp. easy as removing the two screws and replacing the link?
Mine on my 1998 look old and rusty and just want to replace all the fuses inside the box...not sure about the long brass looking ones (fusible links)..is it safe to remove them and screw on new ones???
Thank you

Just clean up contact surfaces, they're working just fine so don't toss them out. If you want new or to have spares go to Rovahfarm.com and buy new. Just for clarification a fusible link is a short section of wire about six to eight inches long that lets go above a certain amperage, it's not a see through hard fuse that fits a socket or is screwed down. I know somebody said this in another post but that is incorrect information..... Apples and oranges.
