It looks to be in pretty good shape. I noticed that the coolant lines to the heater are in a closed loop. Is the heater core busted?

After seeing more of it and the bastardized situation you have with the engine and heater hoses and whatever else my be lurking, Ebay or Craig's list is probably your only chance for getting the price you are wanting.

Personally I avoid such vehicles. It looks like it may be a money pit.

Default Very Unusual

As was pointed out earlier, all appears to point to it being a '96, but the Front Seats are not '96.

I would be interested as my son is looking for a Landie, but I think the distance would keep us from making a deal - both physical as well as in an offer.

I would pay every penny of $2,500.

Was there an actual fire in the ashtray?

Seeing the Heater core in a closed loop would suggest that the heater core, or the O-Rings at least are shot. Not a huge deal for O-Rings, but Heater core can be a b....um... difficult. And for where we are - getting snow and cold - that would be the issue of not just leaving it like that.

But the mileage is great, interior looks great...

Best of luck!

It is probably a 95 with the 3.9. I see Discoveries around here for a 1000 to 1500 all day long, I seriously doubt a knowledgeable buyer would even consider 3500.

How many previous owners? Ever get A CARFAX report on it? Is it an R title?

For 3500 I would want something with a heck of a lot less issues.

I spoke to the mechanic , as far as the wiring is concerned , he said all he needed to do is switch to the 4.0l ECU along with the engine
