Default Good Sale price for DI?

I'm selling my 96 DI. 143xxx, new alt, starter, water pump belt, stop light switch, brake pads, and ss brake lines. The three amigos are on, passenger seat has a rip, some door pockets are cracked (w), middle console bolt inside the storage compartment is broken/loose, rust underneath along frame by doors.

I'm getting a new suv tomorrow and really need to unload it. I'm seeing prices all over the place. If I had the tools/space, I'd probably part it out.

Any thoughts on a sale price?? I was asking $1900, but I'm thinking I need to go lower...

I dunno - I paid $1750 for my 97 with 170K, and I had to put on the alternator, starter, belt, brake pads, no rust, rip seat, etc. So I think you are near the mark.

If I had the money I'd offer you $1500 for it sight unseen.

I thought the Three Amigos was a DII thing? Anyway, I spent $1600 on a '98 D1, 129k, dented front fender, no new parts (that I'm aware of) and really bad tires. I'd say $1900 is a good asking price, don't go much lower than that.

The three amigos originated with the DI. The CEL, ABS and SRS lights are where it all started.

I'm glad I live in the northeast where Rovers are a dime a dozen. I haven't paid more than a grand for any DI I decided to keep for myself. The last time I paid more than that was when I bought a grey market RRC that had a five speed and that was about a dozen years ago. All it needed was gas and plates and it was ready for the road.

Spike, you'd pay $1500 sight unseen for a DI? You're a much braver man than I.

Yeah Spike likes to argue about rover rims being bead locked and what not, big kahunas he's got. That's what happens when you hit em with a mallet, you get big uns.

Spike you'll see the "Murder Mitten's" (perfect description) rover on the Lansing CL....couple of pics....dropped rear step. I love it when I see an SE7 with it's rear bumper step drag'n on the ground. Why is it that monkeys can tie stuff up but humans can't?

Paul, if you ever come across an XD for 1k I'll spend the $500 bucks in gas to come get it and drag it back to my cave. I got a monkey who'll tie it on the bumper for me. I named him Phil.......

If it runs it's worth $1500 to me, it's still cheaper than what I would spend in parts over the next few years.
I'd strip it for what I wanted and scrap the rest.

Think monkey only jumps for beer Doug, you know that.

Default What a *****...

Your monkey comment was incredibly childish and completely uncalled for. On top of your ridiculous post, you are incorrect about the step. It is NOT dragging on the ground and never has. My children use it every day to hop in the back. The picture clearly showed that. I did remove the add a few days ago as I had a change of heart, although it may be short lived. I'm not sure why you feel the need to be such a *****, but way to showcase your trolling abilities and lack of respect for a female on this forum. I hope you treat people you encounter in real life with the same respect you would anticipate from them. I'll leave it at that as this is just the internet and thankfully I don't have to deal with your bull**** in person.
