Default Now got 2

Will pick up the one owner 1995 Disco 1 tonight. Will drive it and see what else I find that is wrong with it.
BIG problem is the PO installed a kill switch to disconnect the battery from the fuse box because it killed the battery. THINKS it is the alternator but I really do not think so. Will put a VOM on it and see where it draws down to.
Need to get the books on it and will probably buy a 2nd one that was flipped for spares and finishing pieces.
Thanks for the insight into this.
PS Just bought another one a 1994 SE Disco 1 for a parts car, bad transfer case in it but ALL the trim is good
This is the parts car could not pass up for $950.00

As a previous 928 owner and now also a Discovery owner, I must say you have the same weaknesses I do for cool cars. Post some pics of the others also.

Good luck and have fun redoing the Discovery.

I was going to say the same thing. I currently own a 88 944 and a 95 Disco. Must be some wierd short circuit in our brains. Or we are just gluttons for punishment.

Never owned a porsche but i went from a bmw 540i to a scout and then the 95 disco as of a week ago. Fell in love with the thing but **** just fails. Im the type thats crawling around on the floor every night of the week tinkering looking for a rhyme or a reason. Granted mine has 188,900 mi. Tonight for example finished up the fluid change on the diffs and looked over the brakes take it out for a spin and the brake pedal goes to the floor. Gonna be crawling around tomorrow night to figure that out but hell im in love.

And you point is, LOL
The one I drove home as 188,514 on it. The Parts one has 67,234. guess which one I will fix up? I have no idea since the parts has NO title and I am getting it from a shop that has had it for 2 years and the owner just walked away.
This is the other things that I go nuts CRAWLING under
Hess & Eisenhardt XJS V12 and the other is the "e" type 1971 V12.
I am selling my TJ Jeep that was a "TOAD" and will use the Disco as the frog if it can be used.
