http://www.rocky-road.com/disco.html. I found them today and they have some really good prices on some roof racks. They are bolt together roof racks but still have some great features. Plus bolt together means no freight shipping charges. They have two lengths. Just curious what you guys thought.

I do like their idea of rescue and recovery equipment.

I had a brush bar made by Garvin (the company that makes those racks) on a previous vehicle. I was very impressed with the quality.

I would be curious as to how it would hold up being bolt together. Of course I don't think I will be doing anything hard core enough to knock bolts loose plus some locktite should take care of any loosening over time. The rest of their prices are a little high (snorkel price was decent) but 435 for a 48" rack seems pretty reasonable compared to others.

If you are worried about nuts coming off, just replace them with nylock nuts. Locktite works well, but the nuylock will withstand a lot more vibration...

That's true. For all I know it comes with nylock nuts. I may order one in the future, if I ever get the other things done that I want to.
