If the shop is worried about rodding out the rad, don't have them do it. They may not be good at it.

When a tech or mechanic or shop hick or whatever makes a statement like that, I hear " I DO NOT KNOW WHAT I AM DOING " OR" DAMN i NEVER SEEN ONE OF THESE BEFORE."

Anyone wanting some guidance on the head gasket repair I would suggest picking up a copy of the DVD In Search of The Experience, it has a complete step by step vidoe on the discovery 1 head gasket repair.

Elias is a great guy and very friendly, He has helped me out a few times.
