Default Heads up on spark plugs

Just fyi...people need to double check what spark plugs they get at an auto parts store. If I didnt know the actual part number, I would have received a one step hotter plug than what OEM specs for in an NGK brand.

When I pulled the PO spark plugs..guess what...one step hotter plug

Here is all the correct spark plugs that o'reily carries for our land rover disco D1

Spark Plug - 1997 Land Rover Discovery | O'Reilly Auto Parts

Just fyi you dont want to run a hotter plug in our rides..if anything one step colder....but since we dont have heavy modified engines...OEM spec heat range is the best

Cheap stock plugs are fine for the D1. What the owners manual specs are cheap and easy to find.
