Default Heater not working

Just finished up some work on the my Disco 1 cooling issues Installing a new radiator and water pump and so on
but I just noticed that when I turn up the heat on the temp no heat is coming out not sure if it’s a simple hose issue or a complicated problem.
just checking out the there if someone can point me at the right direction

it's most likely that you havent gotten all of the air bled out of the system

The heater system is simple and produces tons of heat. Check under the hood if the heater hoses or pipes get hot or not.

If they both get hot, the problem is on the inside air control flappers. If they don't get hot, the problem is with coolant flow, which could be either inside (heater core) or under the hood (valve on older models, or other blockage, or air, like XL suggested above).

What year is your D1?

Check the temperature of both hoses going into the firewall as close to the firewall as you can. This is easily done just by holding them in your hand to see if they are getting hot and the same temperature. If one hose is hot but the other is noticeably cooler you either have an air pocket or blockage in the heater core. If they are the both cool try feeling the hose on the opposite side of the heater control valve. if it is hot one the motor side of the valve but cool on the firewall side then the valve is not opening.
