Default Heater Not Working

My heater is not working properly. It seems to blow air very weak. I turn it on full blast and it blows hard for a second or two then goes back to barely pushing any air out. If I turn it on and off a couple of times then it finally blows full blast. Any recommendations?

I'd guess your fan position switch (slider) is going south. The rear A/C selector from a D2 is the same switch.

BEWARE!! I recently took my dash apart and found that the wire connector to the fan speed slider was burned at the 3 and 4 speed locations.. It will be the cause of a truck fire if I leave it of one of those speeds, and ignore it if it stops (indicating a build up of heat) I have to be sure to catch it if it stops and I also turn the fan speed to off when I get out of the truck - in case.. As long as I wiggle the slider and get it to recover I think I am safe..

wife and I drover her car to Chicago a few years back.. trying to remember what we didn't turn off or lock 3 hours from the house. Then I realized..
I LEFT THE LAND ROVER IN THE GARAGE!!! OMG!
The house was still there when we returned.
