Help with disco 2 driveshaft intall in to disco 1
I am currently working on my 1996 Discovery. Ive installed the 3" springs, new shocks and mounts and im currently changing the drive shafts. What I need to know is, what flange do I buy for the front to install a disco 2 front shaft into my disco 1? Also, Id like to find some extended brake lines and front sway bar hitting driveshaft help.
Thanks,
Nathan

Cant help on the shafts, mine has great basins under it. As far as brake lines, most ss brake line kits I saw ran about 60 to 80 for the +2" sets. All four corners. Oicj your favorite distributor or do a little price searching. Britpart, terrafirma, rovertym, etc all carry/make lines. GL on the drive shaft install!
You need a DII LT230 front output flange.

-Lose the sway bar.
-Get the flange Tom mentioned.
-With a 3" lift I wouldn't futz around with +2" lines. Mine stretched to the max a couple times. I'd recommend going with Part# *PPB-LRDIS96MC, from here. Land Rover/Range Rover Stainless Steel Braided Brake Lines
They were very nice to deal with, offer a web forum discount(ask), and you get to choose your PVC jacket color.

Good luck on your install, glad someone chimed in and helped you quick!
