Ok the shop called and said that the multifunction relay has gone out and needs replaced, and is trying to track one down too see how much it is. Has anyone else ever heard of this? And any idea how much? He said this is what controls the fuel pump and a few other things.

Ok I found one for 99.00 bucks on British Atlantic , my buddie found one at advance autoparts that they say will work for 19.75 with hisdiscount, still waiting for the shop to tell me what they find, any advice?

Ok so my truck is running again. The catalytic coverter was replaced and was welded to close. Was causing the O2 sensor to flow a fuse shutting off the fuel pump. To the tune of 250.00 in labor trouble shooting

If your fuel pump goes out, get the ProLine fuel pump assembly from Rovers North, It's only a hundred bucks for the whole drop in thing. Well worth the money.

A blown fuse is rarely a root cause, something caused the fuse to blow. I would not assume that to be a permanent fix.
