If you are asking what my code was I don't remember exactly what it was, but I am pretty sure it read ignition system misfire or something like that, it was gone in 2 days and has not tripped since, I do get an O2 sensor code but it literally goes on and off randomly, it did it last summer and then was off from I think last august until last week. If you are asking for the OP codes, I don't think I can help you with that either! :P

it has had a recent tune up plugs and wires the problem occurs when the engine compartment is hot with engine heat. it will only act up if your in traffic going red light to red light. thats when it will start to miss fire and stumble and "pop pop" through the intake . if you park after this and come back to it 10 min later it wont start. i'll have to wait till it cools. how ever if i pop the hood leave it open when i go in the store or what ever it will start fine.
i have never herd of a engine with sticking valves. if u are referring to gummed up valves or build up on the valves it would run miss balanced all the time.

It could be a electrical issue but there is no ignition module on this truck, it has electronic ignition.
It could be a bad fuel temp sensor but then you would get a code for that and it would not backfire.
You need good plug wires not el' cheapo Duralast ones.
Magnecor are the prefered plug wire and STI are a very close second.
All other wires will not last for crap on these trucks.
7mm is the stock thickness for the plug wires.
The DI sparks on both the exhaust and compression strokes.
