Good afternoon everyone,


I have a land rover discovery and recently had some hood issues. I had to pretty much break open the hood to get access to the battery. Also, the hood cable came off and is useless until I can get it fixed. I honestly don't have the extra funds to get all of this fix. However, I want to put hood hooks on the rover will I save up enough funds to do so. Can someone tell me if they've had success doing this in the past? If so, which type of hood hooks did you use? Please help, thanks.

When you mount the lower to the fender use a piece of 1/8" plate behind the fender for strength.

 

I have the Sparco hood pins. I like them because the pins stay retained without a cable, even when unlatched.
