Replaced hood latch cable and latch mech. Is their an easy way to adjust as when I close hood it dont open unless I have someone pulling up on hood. Then it releases. Tried adjusting cable several times but no luck. Any help will be appreciated.

 

With a flat screwdriver... start with adjusting the bonnet striker spring tension (#MWC6193). Part looks like this > Range Rover Classic Bonnet Fittings at www.rimmerbros.co.uk
