Default Hot start issues agian. Worse and Different

Well I got stuck in very dense woods last night.. Truck wouldn't start, and when it did transmission coolant line was leaking so I had to shut it off asap.... stuck from 5-11pm digging using highlift to winch and pushing/rocking.

Well..

Anyways..

Hot starting. It doesn't want to start, definatly sounds like its missing. BAADD. Then it catches, but even when its warm and been running it doesn't seem very smooth. NO cel

I heard that if the fuel temp was bad then you could unplug it and the truck should start normal. I tried that, same exact thing. But today I went to start it and noticed a second issue.

It was missing idling low but idling and the rpms were showing 0. But every other time it was showing correctly untill it died. This time when it finally caught the rpms jumped to correct speed.

Any thing else it could be other than the fuel temp?

I got new spark plug wires coming in.

When was the last time it had a tune up?
This does not sound like a fuel temp sensor issue to me.

i know its just seems odd for bad spark plug wires to cause it to not work, ONLY when its hot and ONLY at startup no?

Not if your plug wires are shorting out against the block.
I had this problem right when I bought mine. Replaced the wires, cap and rotor.
Have not had a problem since.

Why are you replacing the Plus 4's when your crappy mix of plug wires aren't capiable of getting spark to them.

NEW SPARKS AND WIRES STILL HAPPENING.

but its back to before and not as bad. Just gotta rev it high for a little while.

Any ideas?

The only thing I can say COULD be wrong. Doubt it.. But.. When I did my head gaskets I somehow ran my CPS OVER my valve cover, its a little tight is all. To tight to push over to the back to get it where it belongs but has been this way for a while and I just have kept it in my mind waiting for something.

I tried unplugging the CPS to move the wire but that thing is a PITA
