So I got bored today and decided to go play in a familiar spot. Well it seems that someone with much larger tires than mine has been through and rutted out the ruts. It was a rookie move and I should have straddled the ruts but I drove right into them....leaving the truck completely on its axles. Two and a half hours in near 100* heat and some help from a buddy with a F-150 with 6" of lift and 35s and I finally got out. Lesson learned, but hell, I had fun.

They weren't covered with water but they only appeared to be about 4-5" deep until I put the weight of the rover into them and it sank like a stone.

MTs and a winch would have been great. More so the winch though because i was sitting on the diffs so I dont think MTs would have helped too much. Time to get off my *** and get the FJ coils on and save up for some 265/75 MTs

Im now thinking about 1" spring spacers after doing the fZj springs because I got closer to 2.5 in the back and since my original springs were pretty sagged I only got about 1.5 when I moved em up front. So if I throw in a pair of 1" spring spacers for $60 that's 2.5" all around for less than 150$. Heads up on the fj springs. When you take your rear spring plate bolts out before putting em back in go to a hardware store and get the same bolt (x4) about an inch longer. Bc when you flip the spring retaining plate it takes a longer bolt to hold down the spring retainer. Nah mean?
